A pre-shipment sample, certificate is issued by the laboratory and based on the findings only good consignments will be ordered by the Imports Department.
A pre-market, complaint or post market sample, if the product is unsatisfactory or does not comply to the relevant specifications, findings will be informed to the higher management to take a decision.
SPC invite tenders mainly through World Wide tender. These are published in the Sunday Observer newspaper, in the web site of SPC and tender invitations are e-mailed to Indian High Commission, Pakistan High Commission and to the Ministry of External Affairs, which in turn mail it to Foreign Missions.
