Tender Information
1. All devices and drugs to be imported into Sri Lanka need to be registered with the:

    Cosmetic Devices & Drug Authority
    C/O Director - Medical Technology & Supplies
    No 120 Norris Canal Road
    Colombo 10
    Sri Lanka

Suppliers who quote against our tenders for pharmaceuticals have to register with the "Cosmetic Devices & Drug Authority", and send a copy of the Registration Certificate to the SPC.

For surgical and consumable items, suppliers can quote pending.
2. SPC imports on Restricted and Worldwide Tenders.  And awards are made considering following factors.
Price quoted
Past performance
Quality of samples submitted for the offered product
Registration etc.
3. Local manufacturers are required to complete Domestic Value Added Calculation Form to determine eligibility for domestic preference.
