Senaka Bibile Commemorion – 2015

Senaka Bibile memorial oration was held at BMICH “Mihilaka Madura” On 27-11-2015

Chief Guest was Hon.Minister Dr.Rajitha Senaratne Minister of Health Nutrition & Indigenous Medicine. Minister gave a valuable speech and confidence to participants. The benefits given for the general public. The implementation of the drug policy.

Professor Senaka Bibile Oration was delivered by Dr.Ananda Wijewikrama consultant physician, Angoda fever hospital. Best performed pharmacology students have been awarded at the above event.

Employees who have given valuable service to SPC servicing more than 30 years had given gold coin for appreciation.

Professor Senaka Bibile had played the leading role in developing a rational pharmaceutical policy, which ensured that the pure people would get good quality drug at the lowest possible price. He was born on 13th February 1920. He had died on 29th September 1977 in Gayana. Professor Senaka Bibie establish a highly successful set of pharmaceutical policies in SriLanka and assisted other developing countries in formulating rational and efficient approaches to the their pharmaceutical problems
